The Pearl Steve Ferrone is a clear nod to the legendary Ludwig Black Beauty sound but perhaps has more depth (low-end). This special sample set is for a “fatback” tuning – very low, squashy “fat” sounding snare sounds. Perfect for country or other acoustic tracks. The snare samples include both right and left hand hits, rimshot samples, cross stick samples, snares off samples, flams, and a few drags. A very distinctive snare sound indeed!
