The Drum Werks Paiste Power Pack delivers a potent collection of Paiste cymbal samples for a wide array of musical genres.

The Paiste Power Pack features three distinct cymbal sounds that will mix harmoniously with each other. Recorded in the same recording session (same room, mics, and mix), these cymbal samples will add a complex and versatile set of cymbal sounds to your drum tracks and overall mix. Includes 100+ samples, weighing in at 300+ MB of 24/44.1 stereo .WAV format audio files.

You will find three different Paiste cymbals included in this cymbal sample pack: a Paiste 17” Signature Crash, a Paiste 18” Signature Crash, and a Paiste 18” China Crash. Each cymbal has been sampled to capture the complete range of dynamics and include all hit velocities from soft to hard. Also, included for each cymbal are “choke” hits for the 17” and 18” crash cymbals, adding an overlooked element to typical cymbal sample packs.

A bit of specific information on each cymbal in the Paiste Power Pack:

• Paiste 17” Signature Crash: A very versatile, all-purpose crash cymbal, equally at home in rock, funk, country, pop and other styles. The Paiste 17″ Signature Crash has a rich and sparkling sound. It features full-bodied response with warm tone and shimmering sustain. Its versatile nature allows it to go from soft and smooth to loud and intense. This versatile cymbal is perfect for pairing with its big brother, the Paiste 18” Signature Crash.
• Paiste 18” Signature Crash: The Big Brother of the Paiste 17”, coming from the same Paiste cymbal series, this one is also a versatile and all-purpose crash cymbal, ideal for rock, funk, country, pop and other styles. It’s a lively cymbal with medium, shimmering sustain that you will find useful in many musical contexts. A little more depth than the 17” because of the added 1” of brass.
• Paiste 18″ Signature Heavy China Cymbal: It’s is exactly what you think of when you think of china cymbals: full, bright, and trashy.  This cymbal delivers a wide tonal range with complex overtones…we could go on and on. You know what a china sounds like and what musical styles it works in. For all you metal players out there, this sample pack is for you, but we also see a ton of application for these cymbal samples in rock, funk, and retro as well. It’s a punchy, powerful accent whenever you need it on stick or kick accents or can even serve as the backbone of any beat on the quarters or off-beat quarters. Dig in and enjoy!
