The Pearl Steve Ferrone signature 6.5" x 14" snare features a brass shell designed for projection as well as sweet resonance and tone. This snare is very versatile and this set features the snare at a high tuning, giving it the crack and bite of a piccolo yet the body and depth of a much larger, beefier snare drum. This set is geared for funk and pop drum styles, but could be used in any situation needing a tight, higher-pitch crack. Definitely one of our favorite drums here at Drum Werks.

With multi-velocity strikes and varying strike positions (center of snare, rim, and points in-between), this dynamic snare sample set will allow users to create realistic snare patterns. The set includes full snare hit, flam, and cross-stick samples. Released February 2010.
